Heat treatment
Heat treatment is a decisive step in the process of turning casting blanks into a finished cast steel component.
The majority of all cast steel materials require the components to be treated in our heat treatment furnaces at least once (but normally several times).
Because this production step is essential to the properties of our components, it is performed carefully in our heat treatment furnaces, which are subject to constant monitoring.
We possess sound experience and a wide base of knowledge in this area thanks to our many decades in the industry.
We offer the following heat treatment processes in a temperature range from 400 °C to 1200 °C
- Solution annealing
- Hardening and tempering using water and oil as quenching agents
- Normalise
- Stress relieving
